This round trinket box with lid was slip cast and hand painted painted with underglaze before the first firing. 3 coats of food safe glaze were applied to the bisque and the piece was fired again. It is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and approximately 2 1/2 inches tall. The words "Cooking is an Art of the Heart," with the word "heart" being a picture of a heart, are written on the box in an aqua color. The heart and the trim are done in raspberry. There are two yellow and pink flowers painted as a partial frame to the phrase.
